About Troodos

The Troodos Mountains offers an unexpected contrast to the whole of the Mediterranean coast line. It is in the middle of the island of Cyprus halfway between Limassol and Nicosia. Troodos is a counterpoint to the rest of the island.
Joining up the whole mountain resorts of Cyprus, Kakopetria, Platres, and Agros you will find a trail that is exactly right for mountain bikers, hikers and bird watchers.

Behind the flowers and the cedar on the highest peeks you can even catch a glimpse of the sky blue sea, so you can just look up and take in the clear mountain air breathing in all the different fragrances of lemon and orange from the groves below.
The trip up towards Troodos is a very delightful one. You will come along to many little villages that will be glad to offer you its local specialities which may range from goat cheese, a Cypriot wine, fresh cherries, or rosewater. Apart from the greenery and the cedar during the summer, the Troodos Mountains have also an excusive site to show in the winter.
With snow covering all the Pine trees and the ground. It is one of the most beautiful destinations for skiing and playing in the snow. Troodos has a variety of things to offer everyone’s needs in the summer and winter. It provides you with memories that last a lifetime. |
